You probably don’t think about it on a daily basis, but around this time of year it’s full steam ahead for all the staff at ‘the most beautiful spring park in the world’: the Keukenhof in Lisse. Brace yourself, because these aren’t figures you see every day:

• 50 gardeners,
• 7,000,000 flower bulbs, all planted by hand,
• a 32-hectare park –
• that’s the equivalent of about 50 football pitches.

Van Haaster Vijfhuizen’s cheerful blooming beds can be admired in the Keukenhof once again this year. Exactly which bulbs we have submitted this year will stay a surprise for a little while longer, but perhaps you’ll soon spot our stunning hyacinth Top Hit (exclusive to Van Haaster Vijfhuizen!), the gorgeous tulip Crystal Star with its fringed petals, or our radiant narcissus Rio, with golden-yellow flowers and double petals that create a playful appearance. 

At this moment they are being planted with great care and love, so that you can enjoy all their colour and fragrance from 19 March to 10 May 2026. We’re already looking forward to the first beautiful days of spring. There’s quite a lot of work still to be done before then…
